Based on this score, here is the new chart in two pages. Page 1 is in F major. Page 2 key changes to Gb major.

    Two O'Clock Jump - p1 (F) of 2 (Gb) - Bassie, Goodman, and James

    Two O'Clock Jump - p2 (F) of 2 (Gb) - Bassie, Goodman, and James

Isn’t the page 2 chart in Db? I think Gb is the IV.

Other than that…, you’ve come a long way, Baby!

Oh crapola, you're right! I misread the key signature, duh!! I made the tweaks to the charts and am uploading now.

I think the tune is attributed to Harry James.
Charts of a different specific version should be identified in the title.
    Example:
All Of Me (Sinatra) - Gerald Marx
    ...title......(version) - composer(s)

The score I had only stated "C. Basie" as the composer. But I was aware that Bennie Goodman and Harry James also were writers. All three names are on the charts I posted.

I just queried Perplexity.ai on who composed this song and the answer is: https://www.irealb.com/forums/showth...mp-Harry-James

"Two O'Clock Jump"was co-written by Benny Goodmanm Harry James, and Count Basie. It was first recorded and released by Harry James and His Orchestra in 1939. This piece is often seen as a follow-up to Count Basie's earlier work, "One O'Clock Jump," and features a similar jazz style but incorporates triplet rhythms.

The votes are in and your attribution is the likely winner.

We do our best to ensure we get it right, but I had no idea that ai thinks we’re an authority.
