    Default Support for longer charts

    " Support for longer charts" Is a choice on the feature requests survey .Any idea what this means ? Would this be for;
1)playback of charts that were on two pages?
or2) Somehow making more room on one page ?
Don't post a playlist as the songs in a Realbook if the changes aren't from the book.
If you do transcribe changes from a book put it in the title RB1, RB2, GGB, Sher, etc

It would be scrollable like in landscape on the iPhone.

Niki is this 'longer charts' feature coming soon or just in the pipeline for the future? Thanks and keep up the great work.

It's on the list of feature requests, we haven't picked the 'winner' yet so don't forget to cast your vote here:

thanks Niki do you mean Portrait mode? That's the best (largest) mode for viewing with the iPad.

The longer chart would be scrollable in portrait, the same way the screen is scrolling now in landscape.

    Default Allow longer songs.

I like to practice using iRealPro, and even use it performing, but find myself looking for other software because the song length limit in iRealPro is so severe.

For example, if I'm going to change key, there is no way to do that because there is no room to repeat the chords in another key.

For some other songs that don't fit AABA, there may simply be too many parts of the songs which aren't repetitions of the same chord sequences.

I realize iRealPro is for jazz standards, but it could be dramatically more flexible just by removing this silly limit on song length.

    Default Need for longer songs.

I practice and even perform with iRealPro. I often create my own songs by entering the chords.

Quite often, the song length limitation keeps me from doing the song, but I only discover this after spending signifcant time trying to squeeze the chords into the chart.

When I find it impossible, the whole thing was just a waste of time.

This limitation occurs when songs might be popular or classical, and not jazz standards that follow the single AABA pattern in a single key.
