Is there a way to hear chords before choosing them? Thanks
MacBook Pro 15 in. *OS X 10.8.5,
Mac: Logic 9 (scoring, producing), iReal b (progressions)
iPod: MusicStudio (melody and rhythm ideas) Reflow(composition, arranging) iReal b (progressions)
Hi, I'm new here, but...
I can hear the chords in 'edit' mode. I place the chord in the progression, and hit the play button. I can start from the top, or highlight any other measure I prefer to start from.
The chords don't become permanent until I press 'save'.
Hope this helps!

First of all, thanks for this amazing app. The ability to put together chord charts while away from a computer is a game changer for me. I do, however, have a feature request:
It would be great to have to ability to play a chord back while in edit mode. The purpose of this is let you hear the chord you just entered so you can determine if its the chord you want (or though you heard in your head). Since I'm usually using this app while I am away from a keyboard, it would be nice to be able to ear-check a particular chord with out having to get out of edit mode and go into playback mode (which really slows me down when I'm trying to document a song quickly before rehearsal). You could have a button right next to the chord input button which, when pressed, plays a chord.
If this feature is already there, please forgive me, for I'm new to this tool. Once again, this is an amazing tool.
This was posted in the Mac forum:

I don't know when/if implementation is planned for other platforms.
Welcome to the forums,
Thank you for your post,

Yes, u can playback using a Mac in EDIT, but not on Android version or iOS.
When editing a song, is there any way to listen to it playback without having to leave the EDIT mode?

Please Developers! If "playback chord in edit mode" is working on MAC, make it work in iOS too!!!!
I'm close to hate IRP on iOS cause every time I'm editing a more complicated song, I need to jump back and forth between EDIT mode and PLAY mode.
AAAAND, exiting EDIT more is always 2 taps (Save, Exit), and going back from PLAY mode to EDIT mode is again, 2 taps (Edit, Edit). When I'm writing a song, I don't need the options of "duplicate", "new song", "remove from playlist" and "move to trash" EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to go from playing to editing.
My brain is wrecking.
