Mode for accompaniment to improve inner clock and form/structure development

Dear iReal Pro Team,

I’m a big fan of your fantastic app and use it regularly to practice accompaniment and soloing. I’d like to suggest a new feature that could make practicing even more effective. The idea is for a special practice mode with the following feature:

Sparse Accompaniment: It would be great to have an option where accompaniment only plays chords every 2, 4, 8 bars or even only the first bar of the form. This would encourage practicing hearing the chords and maintaining the rhythm independently.

Such a feature would be immensely helpful for developing a strong sense of rhythm and harmony. Thank you for considering this idea, and keep up the great work with iReal Pro!

This is a good suggestion. It’s pretty easy though to do this yourself and to address your specific needs. for instance, you can edit a chart to play. Just beat one (or 2,3,4)of the chord . Then you do the NC forbeat two.
Really the best way to explain it is to just see what I’ve done in this playlist.
