What is the New Real Book ?Who is the publisher?
The Real Book1 by Hal Leonard has it on p277 and it is nothing like this .
Don't post a playlist as the songs in a Realbook if the changes aren't from the book.
If you do transcribe changes from a book put it in the title RB1, RB2, GGB, Sher, etc

    Default Misty

Hi i downloaded misty from the forum and realized through playback, it played the EbM7 for only one measure instead of two (for the start of the song). Can this be fixed?

If none of the versions in this thread are satisfactory to you, just open a DUPLICATE of an existing chart in the editor (pencil icon) and change it to your liking.

I’m looking for help with the chords to the 4-bar introduction of Misty as sung by Johnny Mathis.

Here is a link to the song: https://youtu.be/DkC9bCuahC8?si=gY-Bm-NtAJfap7Kh

I have the first 3 chords as Emaj7 Fm7 Gm7 but would really appreciate someone writing out the chords for me.

I have a screenshot of the sheet music for these 4 bars but I'm not sure how to add it to my post.

    Thank you!

Misty (Johnny Mathis) INTRO - Erroll Garner-Johnny Burke

You can paste the intro to a Duplicate of another chart.

    Is this what you wanted?

    Hi Bob,

    Thanks for that.

Those were the bars I was after - although in the last two bars I'm not sure I agree with the repeat of the Emaj7 Fm7 and Gm7...sitting here trying to work it out now. None of the innumerable versions on YT show anyone playing the Mathis intro, either, alas.

    For more choices, try this:
Google search> misty johnny mathis sheet
    Select - Images
This will show the first page of many available commercial charts.

I selected the intro chords from the 1st chart as a quick answer to your question.
There are different chords on other charts to choose from.

Let us know what you land on…
