    How to create a chart in an external editor?

    I am sorry if this is a already asked, and if so please link to the answer, as I could not find the answer.

    I am VERY new to IREAL PRO.

    I am good at writing HTML.

    I need to write a lot of simple songs.

    I need the general format required, if it is possible to create an external file, such as an HTML file, or a PDF file, or a PLAIN TEXT file, or ???

    All I need is a simple sample I think.

    Please help.

    Thanks.

    You will have the best results using the built-in editor in the iRp app.
    With experience, writing/editing goes pretty fast.

    To slow it down use pause/play, pause/play, pause/play.

    Select Android from the menu
    Select Editor

    See https://github.com/sciurius/perl-Data-iRealPro . It is not a WYSIWYG editor but it supports a simple textual form to write iRealPro and converts it into 'real' iRealPro.

    For example:
    Code:
    Song 1: Ik Zie Jou (Trudie van den Bos)
    Style: Medium Swing (Pop-Slow Rock); key: C; tempo: 180; repeat: 3
    Playlist: September

    {T34 A- ___ | _ x __ | B- ___ | _ x _ <4x> _ }
    {    A- ___ | _ x __ | F  ___ | _ x _ <3x> _ }
    |    G  ___ | _ x __ | _ x __ | _ x __       ]
    _
    It is not consumer grade software, but works for me.
