Default iReal slow to launch on new Mac Studio running Sonoma

I don't know if this all started just after getting my new Mac Studio a few weeks ago or whether it's just been in the last few days but iReal takes almost 60 seconds now to load.

I do have a lot of songs in my library (2253) so this is the likely culprit.
But I've had a lot of songs in there for a long time now.

    Anybody else having similar issues?
Do the iReal people read this forum?

    Nobody?
I just deleted a bunch of Songs getting my total down to 2198 but it hasn't helped.
Also noticed that iCloud sync was turned off so I turned it back on.
Is it normal for Sync to never be finished?
    It just keeps syncing.
Once the app is open it seems to run OK although I have had a few beach ball incidents of it hanging.

OK. A simple restart of my Mac fixed it.

Thank you for the detailed report and your follow-up that a re-start seems to have solved your issue.

IRp song code is really data thrifty. So only ~3k charts is not a likely problem.
(I have nearly 20k charts and 100 playlists in my iPad mini)
If you have your app generate a back-up file of your songs and playlists you can determine the size of the attachment. I’ll bet it’s only about the size of a single full-size photo.

Your experience may be helpful to others, so let’s keep this thread accessible.
    Thanks
