You can easily write an iRp chart and share it here in a reply.

The recording is in Fmaj if you're playing it in the original key.

A few minor edits on this one.

    Chantilly Lace 1 - J. P. Richardson

    Repositioned one bar-repeat.
    Added one double-bar sign.
Changed repeat brackets to double bars. In iRp we control form repeats using the player repeat setting.
Changed the default key from C to F.
Here’s how I know: the chart’s key signature was 1 flat, and the form ends on an F, and I just kinda know it. The song starts on the V, and the Bb is the IV, so the F is the I.
I also changed the player settings. Med. swing just ain’t the Big Bopper.
I chose one of the optional Blues styles “Stax” @ 131.

You probably want to have the extra Blues styles. They are an in-app purchase, less than $5, once. Go to the main app settings and look there. You can preview the styles there and decide.

On my iPad, above the songs, styles, etc. menu is a “gear” icon, look there.

Thanks Bob! Been a while since I felt like a butt-naked beginner. I definitely appreciate the back read!

One follow up question: if i have the optional styles and save those to my charts, will my band collaborators also need to buy the add ons to access those styles?

Yes, I think your app needs to have the style on board to play a chart using that style. If the style isn’t available in the app, the chart will still play, using any of the styles that you have.

Let me ask you this. You don’t yet have the blues styles, so when you play my chart what style is used?

I just emailed you an audio file…
