    Using this resource

You can easily write an iRp chart and share it here in a reply.

I created a chartbased on the score above. This is my first 3/4 chart. Is the format correct? The score mislabeled G7 as C in bars 8 and 24.

Can iReal indicate rests? Also, I couldn’t locate a simple 3/4 triplet feel in the song types. Sorry for the beginner questions!

iReal pro charts need only the chords (as written above the staff), not the melody notes.

3/4 charts can use the same layout as 4/4 charts

    Also this is useful

I removed the parentheses from this title (even if that’s not accurate) because:
Titles filed in your library are arranged alphabetically and punctuation marks will be filed elsewhere making it harder to scroll to find your title.

The I V I “turnaround” @ 8&24 is not used in the chart I transcribed. It’s a arrangement choice that you could make.

You can indicate rests with N.C. (not necessary here)

In iRp charts, a bar for pick-up notes at the start is often not charted unless it’s part of a charted intro. When the song repeats, the missing bar (w/ p/u notes) is the final bar of the form.

There’s lots to learn, it’s a process. Nobody is born with the knowledge.

Thanks Bob! I appreciate the pointers. This beginner appreciates your helpful suggestions! I adjusted the thread's headline to reflect the completed chart and corrected title. Dave

P.S. tried to change the title. Doesn't appear to have accepted that edit.

No worries on changing the title of the thread.
We try to have song discussion threads use the “correct” title.
