And yet another version. The head has the familiar (and by now cliched) staggered rhythm.

    Autumn Leaves-Rev JE 2 - Joseph Kosma

    Cheers,

Hi Jer, nice chart. I clicked past the player’s error message and was pleased with the playback.
It would be helpful if you could discuss your use of the B1 chord
(along with the other “1” chords) in the head.

Thanks for sharing your instructive chart.

    Thank you, Bob.

The error message appears briefly and then disappears by itself.

The sub 1 chords play only the bass note. As a pianist, I normally use only the bass and drums. But for horn players and others who want to include a rhythm instrument, I provided a mixed accompaniment of full chords and single-note bass.

To achieve more control over the tune, in Swing Two/Four I used IN for the head so only the Solo section B would repeat. To simulate the Four feel for the second part of the IN I wrote out the walking bass. And to avoid the Solos starting in Two, I made them a B section.

As we all know, iReal Pro requires a few tricks and workarounds to approximate the effect one wants. The change I would like most would be the ability to subdivide the measure into eighth notes.

    Cheers,
    Jer
