the style tags are all over the place. for instance, Angels Rock Me To Sleep is under the Jazz style. Church in the Wildwood is coded as a Latin Cuban cha cha

The reason the Song Styles are all over the place is because the choices for Styles are limited. Had the Blues Styles been available when I entered the songs, I might have even used some of them. As a user, you can change the styles to anything you like. It's totally crazy, of course, to use a style like Latin Jazz, or the forementioned Latin Cuba Cha Cha, but it's sure a lot of fun at times to go off the beaten path. Those were my preferences, just to change things up a bit, meant to be as momentary as you like.

I created this Playlist primarily for myself. I won’t be disappointed if it is not posted to the forum. I am aware that Parking Lot Pickers is already available. With all due respect and appreciation to A1tradjazz, I thought this set of songs could use an upgrade.

This post is Parking Lot Pickers (PLP).
Rather than duplicate the songs from the Real Bluegrass Book, I labeled all of these songs in the title with (PLP-RBB). “Wildwood Flower” is included in both books but as an instrumental in RBB, so I included it
with PLP.

Each song is arranged so that it plays through all of the verses and choruses, I used the following
websites to add some value:
• SecondHandSongs.com
• Mudcat.org
• Hymnary.org
• Fresnostate.edu/folklore/

Where I was able to find it, I included the year the song was published and the publishing company name. Also, the year it was first recorded and the performer(s) who recorded it. If the song was published or recorded under different names, I included them where space allowed. Occasionally, there was an interesting footnote, so I added those where they fit. Many of the authors names in the book
include only the last name and initials. I made a point of trying to finding each authors full name.
