When I input an alternate chord, but then later change my mind & want to change or delete it, when I delete the chord, it deletes a beat in the measure - ! As if I was using the add/delete beats button.

Thank you for reporting this. We have this listed for a fix.
What platform are you using (Android, Mac or iOS) and what version of iReal Pro do you have (find this in Settings, or in About iReal Pro, Mac).
EDIT, sorry I see you have reported this in the Mac forum (we had something similar in Android) and have it marked for a fix for the Mac version.
