    I found a transcription of the song and each key change is 8 bars long according to this chart,

    Raymb is right: the cycle is 8 bars long, not 6. I misread the info. Thanks, Ray, for the transcription.

    Bill does play a melody on YouTube, although the Wiki entry I read said it has no real melody, so I assumed Bill was just improvising it.

    I'm going to correct my post.
