Default How to delete one of multiple time signatures

I have the time signature appearing twice in a song and I can't figure out how to delete the second one (that appears in the middle of the song). They are both 4/4.
The delete button does not appear to delete the time signature

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

Try this: put the cursor in the beat just after the time signature to be deleted (usually the first beat of the measure), call up the symbols keyboard and tap the same time signature. This should delete the unwanted time signature. This is how I do it on my iPad. I imagine that it is similar on Android devices.

    Thanks Keith,

    That worked like a charm!

I had exactly the same problem described by @ibsoreal. I'm using a MacBook (macOS). Just as @Keith88 describes - I was able to remove the unwanted 4/4 by placing the cursor one beat after the time signature, and selecting "---" from the Time Signature dropdown. After doing this the second 4/4 disappeared. Thank you!

    I'm using iReal version 2020.12 (201202).

Default How can I eliminate one of the time signatures?

I'm encountering an issue where a time signature, specifically 4/4, is duplicated within a song, and I'm unable to remove the one that appears midway. Despite trying, the delete option doesn't seem to work for time signatures. How can I eliminate one of the time signatures?

Tap on the space just after the time signature (on its right), on the Editor keyboard you should see the time signature button highlight, tap it to open the time signature window. Deselect the time signature.
    Does this work for you?
