I'm moving from an iphone to probably a samsung galaxy s2/s3.
If I backup my iOS library, can I import this into the android version?
Cheers,

Androids tend to crash with large list of more than 300 songs so you need to break it down into shorter playlists.
For the standards you can download a broken down version here:

how, can we break down our ios playlists into manageable chunks ?
Each playlist should have maximum 300 songs so you need to make a new playlist for the rest that are over the limit.

If you have access to iReal b for Mac, it is easy (drag, drop) to create a playlist from many songs at once.
On iOS, if you have long playlists either:
2
go to each playlist and swipe each song adding each to a new playlist as you go through to about 300 songs as Niki said; then start another.
3
Or you could email the playlist to yourself, import (creating a duplicate) and just delete a number of songs off the playlist(s) ...
Delete some songs in each playlist, instructions here:

This is would be quicker. You might need to do this a few times to separate parts of the playlist into 300 or fewer.
However if you have the 1200 jazz charts, remember they are already in the forum as pointed out in our previous post... specifically:

And any other playlists you originally got from the forum should still be here, so they can be directly imported into your Android device.
