Problem syncing modified iPad and iMac songs

Problem with syncing iReal on iPad2 5.1.1 and iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

I am trying to edit my own playlist for a gig and discover that if I make amendments to a song it will not save the changes and reverts back to original key of song.

The workaround for this seems to be to duplicate the songs save them and modify.

This works for a single device, yet if I wish to send the modified song to the other device it is received as the original key.

There is a sync problem as each device has to be individually modified.

If you have lotsa songs to edit and transpose it can be very time-consuming.

Is there any way to sync songs for both devices and maintain the modified keys?

Can styles packs be synced and used for both devices, or is it necessary to buy seperately for each device?
