Suppose iReal Pro had a field (or three) for URLs, to be filled in by the user, and when "clicked" iReal would open that URL.

The user could put a link to a YouTube video, or a file (audio, PDF, etc) on local file system, or ... really any URL.

This would give a way for a user to link to a full music score, or a page in a Fake Book, or a YouTube video. And conveniently open it at any time. I can see more than a single link being useful, hence "a field (or three)".

iReal would not be providing the links themselves, so should be legally safe. iReal could separately decide whether to enabling sharing this part of a song on the forums or not (thought it would be further awesome if it was; after all they are just links, not the actual IP content itself).

Thoughts?
