Piano patterns works fine on Latin styles when no more than 1 chord on each bar is played. However, when there are two chords in a bar, the pattern changes to a one bar pattern (which is always the same 1st upbeat that repeats).
Could it be possible to have a 2 bars piano comping pattern when 2 chords are played in the same bar?
As an example, take the tune "Morning" by Clare Fischer and apply a Latin cha-cha style. The piano comping doesn't sound Latin at all because of that issue.
