Reggae unlike Jazz is based on Bass and Drum. Soloing to the same D&B is pointless.

Where is the existing (swung) reggae option? I can't seem to find it. Any information appreciated! Thx!the single (swung) reggae option isn’t very useful for Jamaican music, and is more like 80s English pop.

It's in the "Pop" category. It is called pop-reggae.
Other reggae styles would be greatly appreciated.
At least a straight 16th (or slightly swung) style would be great. And yes, other Caribbean styles (soca) would be nice as well
