Ad lib repeating section

Is there any way to do an ad lib section. Say repeating 4measures over about 20 times then on to the next section?

Sure. Enclose your ad lib section inside repeat brackets. Using text, add the number of times you want the section to repeat followed by "x" anywhere inside the brackets (usually under the last measure of the repeat) 4x, 12x etc.
I haven't encountered the maximum allowed.

When using the player, it can be helpful to write-out the final repeating bars again after the repeat section. Reduce the repeat number by one. That way, the bar indicator will move out of the repeating section for the last repeat which will alert you that the ad lib section is nearly over.
