How to have no bar line at the beginning of a staff?

I did do a brief search but didn't really know what to ask
I would like to have no bar line at the begging of a staff.
Like the template does with 2nd endings.
here is my problem.

I want to move the Bb to be under bar 3 and 4 of the above staff.

The issue is cosmetic as the player ignores empty measures. If you close the preceding measure with a double-bar, you shouldn't experience that 'wrap-around" bar-line.
