Empty ending bracket

Hi,

I'm new to iReal b, so I hope I'm not repeating a question. In the editor, I find 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ending brackets. There is also an bracket that has not number (= is empty). What is the purpose of the this bracket and how is it used?

There is no particular function but the thinking behind it was for more x endings without having to provide more than the 3 as we have. It is possible to put a number in text (presumably '4.') and move it upwards so it looks like a 4th time ending, or add any other text there ... 'to flute' or whatever
