Jer,
Great idea.
I added piano chords on yours
and humbly modified a bit on my personal preference...
Maiden Voyage (for player) - Herbie Hancock
shinr1,
It was an excellent idea to put the piano chords in for backing horn players. I didn't because I'm a pianist and only use the bass and drums.
However, it's not quite playing correctly. It's nice to have the chords ring rather than be cut off, but unfortunately if you leave a space after a chord iReal Pro will from time to time stick in a repeated chord and even a chord that is syncopated off the beat. So you need an N.C. in every blank space that follows a chord.
Your 4/4 time in the first two measures of each pattern is accurate, but in the second measure the chord and bass are not on the downbeat, which is why I prefer to divide it into 5/4 and 3/4.
Here's mine with the chords added.

My one for reading.

MAIDEN VOYAGE - added an intro and a coda to match the source recording; also altered one of the chords of the B section to reflect the added 13 harmony.

Maiden Voyage - This is like the sixth time I have posted this; sorry if I have irritated anyone out there, but i just tested this one and it finally works correctly with the new intro and coda.
