email to ipad help

I edited a song on my computer using iReal Book Editor but when I sent it back to my ipad the mail program says it cannot open the attached file. How can I transfer an edited song to my ipad?

Are you using the web editor?
Make sure you are copy/pasting the two lines of code in the Email box into your email. Sometimes the file is corrupted by the email account used. You could try using a different email application, or webmail. And sometimes there are problems with gmail or hotmail accounts.
