    See if this example helps
Ending Volta Bracket Placement - Example

Don't worry about changing the number of spaces in each measure as you change time signatures. It's not neccessary and usually doesn't matter.

So you're basically asserting that it is somehow incorrect if the volta bracket is parallel with a bar line below it? What is the thinking behind this?

Ending indicators are correctly entered in the first space of the first bar of the ending. Placing them anywhere else is unusual.
Can you see the difference in the example chart I posted for you?

    Nice chart.

I made a few additional cosmetic changes.

Thanks, Bob; very pretty. I've trashed mine and renamed yours to make it the master copy.

Gettin up to speed writing iRp charts that work in the player, AND are easy to read, AND look nice, AND squeeze onto a single page can be a challenge.

It's a process that takes time but gets easier.

Our goal for forum discussion is not just to arrive at (and only post) a "correct" chart, but rather to show the process and help current and future users get better at it.
